Roadmap

Overview

There are set goals for versions, like V0.2.0 which should support certain criteria. There are also current features that are prioritised, as of 2025 dec multiplayer replication is a priority, which adds delays to patches but is highly requested.

Important note

Features will be released in smaller patches, big patches are when all features needed for it have been implemented.

Continous minor patches & bugfixes and feature implementations on request

V0.1.1

  • MassStateTree location error repeat bugfix.
  • Easier material baking process.
  • Selection Healthbars.
  • Large Scale RTS Demo.
  • Get Health on Actors with Entity Fragments.
  • Change team on Spawned Entities.

V0.1.2

  • Basic Multiplayer Replication (Movement + Animation first)
  • Combat processing optimizations.
  • BP Actor transition non-experimental.
  • Multiplayer spawning.
  • Spawning query setup rework.

Considered features for placement

  • NavLinks and Jumping.
  • Simple flying logic, boids and pathfinding.

Current features being prioritised

  • New: Horde shooter demonstration.
  • Improved: Reworked Ability Data.
  • Improved: Optimizations to allow more entities for single-player.
  • Fix: Bug fixes for Mass Actor BP interactions.
  • New: Replicated Animation Timings.
  • and more including V0.2.0 features.

V0.2.0 General Features

  • Large LOD improvements.
  • Ranged attacks.
  • Fetch Entity Info functions.
  • Collision improvements.
  • Zombie Third Person Example.
  • Basic Multiplayer. (Entity Transform Replication, Movement).
  • Interaction and Pickup Abilities, can be gathering. (Smart objects)

Note V0.3.0 now has some of the intended V0.2.0 features but a lot was added to V0.2.0

V0.3.0 General Features

  • Animations Tied to speed.
  • Atleast 15k units on screen 60fps*.
  • Improved Grid System.

Future

V1.0.0

  • Core Network Replication using Iris.
  • Further optimizations
  • Colony sim functionality and demo
  • Customizable Ability hooks, allowing blueprint users to fully customize attacks.

*On the same 3070ti i7 12700 Laptop in shipped version, singleplayer, for multiplayer on screen replication is unlikely to support 10k+ units early, off screen not included.
